Most aftermarket lower tie-bars use a rod-end bearing type connection for proper fitment. This however allows the subframe to flex under load and minimizes its effectiveness. The Beaks subframe tie-bar design has no pivot points. Its square tube configuration provides excellent rigidity and lightweight. Additionally, the Beaks tie-bar is 100% compatible with the Beaks subframe reinforcement kit.

Note: '06+ Civic Si's have a rear underside plastic diffuser that needs to be slightly modified (some plastic needs to be dremeled off) in order to be reused with a Beaks lower tie bar.
